The first picture shows our floating INDOEX home - the R/V Ron Brown, taken during one of our port stops in Male. I was on one of the local transport boats, a dhoni, when I took this.
This is a picture of the lidar setup on the starboard side of the 03 deck on R/V Ron Brown... not sure why the sea in the background came out so dark.
The next picture shows the !ONE! overflight we had with the NCAR C-130 aircraft during INDOEX. The picture does suck, I only include it here because "issues" dealing with the overflights made up one of my crimes during my shellback initiation ceremony. Figured the damn plane cost me some lunch time for a few days during the ceremony (waving my flags) so I decided to show it.
This next picture shows me turning the camera on the Scripps film crew that was onboard the Brown for the first leg of our journey. The film crew was in the RIB taking video of the ship at sea.
