The next two pictures are of my good friends Thierry and Paola. Mr. T and Miss P. are from Europe, me-USA, and we all met back in Tenerife, Canary Islands, in the summer of 1997 during ACE-2. We have been close friends since.
The first picture was taken at Thierry's place in Lille, France. My wine glass, visible on the right of the table, is huge. But as my Euro friends always remind me, everything American is huge... including my bag (inside joke).
The next picture was taken in Paris, yes it was very cold in France.

This is a picture of somewhere in Paris... it was a long day. Thierry is visible in the background doing some sort of "Rocky Balboa" impression. when it comes to Thierry, I've learned not to ask too many questions, in fact I'm surprised he didnt break into a dance of some sort.
The next two pictures are of the middle-age city of Carcasone, in the south of France. My ACE-2 meeting was in Toulouse, which is near Carcasone, so I was able to visit the old city for a day with new friend, Alessandra.
